H&D Event Styling; ZenWave Gallery

At H&D, we love supporting a good cause. So when ZenWave were launching their Photo Gallery Event in Sydney, we were more than happy to help with adding our styling touch to the occasion.

Wanted to enhance their theme of ‘Travel Photography’, we added some vintage travel items and photography pieces in a simple, subdued, understated and elegant way so that the true stars of the night could shine away – the photography – with proceeds from all sales going to a variety of good causes.

We used some simple styling techniques to bring additional warmth and character to the gallery space through the use of: piles of vintage and travel books, everyday items like rustic frames, a vintage suitcase which was a lovely market find,  drinks trays, mismatched vintage glasswear, ornaments (yes, there is a bird ornament in there!), a 1920’s camera which is one of our personal travel treasures, candles for some extra ambiance and fresh, scented flowers for some pops of white.

You can create your own little gallery at home by starting a photo frame wall. As well as cherished pictures of family and friends, also consider some travel photos from your own holidays or from an amazing catalogue of photos via ZenWave – each has been snapped by an inspired traveler and there are photos from every corner of the world (have we mentioned what a fantastic initiative we think this is?).

If you would like us to style your home or event, then don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.
